Apple Inc. will host its annual product launch event on September 9, with a global livestream scheduled at 10 a.m. PT (10:30 p.m. IST) via Apple’s website, YouTube channel, and Apple TV app. The event is expected to showcase Apple’s latest devices, including the iPhone 17 lineup, new Apple Watches, AirPods Pro 3, and software updates.
The spotlight of the event will likely fall on the iPhone 17 series, which is expected to include four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Rumors suggest the base iPhone 17 may feature a larger display, a 24MP front camera, ProMotion technology, and an always-on display. The iPhone 17 Air could offer a slim 6.6-inch screen, an A19 processor, and a single rear camera.
The iPhone 17 Pro is anticipated to debut a redesigned camera bar, a 48MP telephoto lens, a 24MP front camera, and the A19 Pro chip. The flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max may include all Pro features, a thicker frame to house a larger battery, and other high-end enhancements.
Apple is also expected to update its smartwatch range. The Apple Watch Series 11 may retain its current design but feature a faster S-series chip and 5G support. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 could see a larger display with slimmer bezels, satellite connectivity, and potential blood pressure monitoring. The Watch SE 3 is likely to receive a redesign with a larger screen, new processor, and plastic casing option.
Apple may introduce the AirPods Pro 3 with an H3 chip, enhanced noise cancellation, heart-rate monitoring, and a redesigned charging case. The company is also expected to release finalized versions of iOS 26, watchOS 26, and other updates previewed at this year’s WWDC.
Speculation suggests Apple may unveil new accessories such as the AirTag 2, a refreshed Apple TV 4K, second-generation HomePod mini, or updates to the Vision Pro headset. If not revealed during this event, these products could launch later in the year.
